Bolivia: An Unsettling Referendum

Bolivia is scheduled to hold a national referendum July 18 to decide the future of its natural gas reserves. At issue is whether the reserves will be developed for export by private foreign companies, or if Bolivia will start drifting politically toward renationalizing its oil and gas industries.
