Summary

North Korea is in the final stages of preparations for the lift-off of a satellite launch vehicle scheduled sometime between April 4 and April 8. But while all the talk has centered on this launch, the more important — and more telling — demonstration of North Korean military capability could be a test, or a series of tests, involving short- and medium-range ballistic missiles.
