Summary

South Korea will soon begin exporting nuclear reactors, according to a senior official in the incoming administration of President-elect Lee Myung Bak. The South Koreans have the knowledge, experience and verve to make a big splash in the industry. But they will remain dependent on foreign sources of uranium, which will limit their competitiveness in the near future until they can produce their own.
