A Dec. 10 protest calling for the release of Ukrainian anti-corruption leader Mikhail Saakashvili is actually a sideshow to the real battle between President Petro Poroshenko and former Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko, who are neck and neck in the polls for the 2019 presidential election.
