Ukraine is in the midst of difficult negotiations with its bondholders as it struggles to meet the International Monetary Fund's demands ahead of the organization's decision on whether to release its next tranche of aid to Ukraine in June. To meet the requirements tied to the IMF's aid package and avoid default, Ukraine will ultimately reach an agreement with bondholders before some of its bonds mature in the fall, though negotiations could extend beyond the IMF's June target.
