Summary
With talks bogged down with Poland over installing part of a U.S. ballistic missile defense system on Polish soil, the United States is now talking to Lithuania about serving as an alternative site. There is ample motivation for Washington and Vilnius to expedite the deal, which would not be good news for Moscow.
