Please review these Guidelines carefully. By using any portion of any Forum in any manner, you agree to abide by these Guidelines.
We may update these Guidelines at any time by posting an updated version of these Guidelines. These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict between these Guidelines and our Terms of Use, our Terms of Use will control.
The holder of the Stratfor account under which Forum participation occurs (whether under a “screen name” or otherwise) is responsible for all Forum activities on that account.
You must observe the following standards when participating in any discussion on a Stratfor Community Forum:
Do not engage in personal attacks. Do not harass, abuse, or threaten another member. If you disagree with someone, respond to the subject and not to the person.
Remain on topic and civil while participating in our Community Forum and engaging with Community Forum staff. Obscene, hostile or offensive content, including insults and threats, are prohibited.
All spam is prohibited in the Community Forum. This includes promoting yourself or your business, or any other off-topic or disruptive message, including posting the same or similar messages repetitively.
Do not impersonate others while participating in the Community Forum.
Do not use hate speech. Hate speech includes any content intended to victimize, harass, degrade, or intimidate an individual or group on the basis of age, disability, ethnicity, gender, race, religion, national origin, or sexual orientation.
Illegal activity is prohibited in the Stratfor Community Forum. It is your responsibility to know and abide by the laws of your jurisdiction.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the Forum. By participating in the Forum, you represent and warrant to Stratfor that you meet this minimum age requirement.
So that all of our members can participate on an equal footing, we request that all comments and posts in the Forum be made in English. We reserve the right to translate any comments or posts that are made in any other language.
Do not post any confidential or proprietary information regarding yourself, your organization or company, or others.
The Stratfor Community Forum Manager, moderators and other Stratfor staff will work to keep the conversation friendly, engaging, helpful, and productive. They may revise, move, delete, translate or otherwise modify any content or posts, in their sole discretion. If we feel a comment or post is harming the conversation or otherwise violates these guidelines or our Terms of Use, we reserve the right to investigate and take such actions as we deem appropriate in our sole discretion, including, without limitation, removing the comment or post, issuing a written warning to the applicable member, suspending or terminating the applicable member’s access to the Forum, and/or reporting the matter to law enforcement.
By participating in any Forum, you grant Stratfor a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable and royalty-free right and license to publish, distribute, transmit, use, modify, edit and re-purpose all comments and content posted in any Forum, as Stratfor deems appropriate in Stratfor’s sole discretion.
