An army mutiny has spread in Burkina Faso to a fourth city, BBC reported April 18. Protests were taking place in Kaya, after demonstrations in Po and Tenkodogo, a BBC coorespondent confirmed. In Kaya, soldiers and police fired guns into the air from late April 17 until early April 18. It was the first time police had participated in the mutiny, according to BBC. In the capital, 45 people had been hospitalized for injuries.
