Cyprus: Turkish Vessels Intercept Eni Drillship

Five Turkish navy vessels intercepted Eni's Saipem 12000 drillship, forcing it to change course and return, according to Cyprus government spokesman, CyprusMail reported Feb. 23. ENI's drillship was attempting to head to the offshore Block 3 to drill a natural gas well before Turkey intercepted the ship and threatened to use force.
