Egypt: 50 Injured In Attack On Political Party's Headquarters

Fifty people were injured in clashes between protesters and members of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party on Nov. 26 as the protesters attempted to break in to the FJP headquarters in Tanta, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported. The protesters were demonstrating against the Nov. 25 injury of eight fellow protesters, accusing the Muslim Brotherhood of firing tear gas at them. Widespread demonstrations against Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi's Nov. 22 presidential decree, in which he granted himself broad authority over the judiciary, have been held across the country over the past few days.
