Egypt: Protesters Attack Presidential Palace

Protesters attacked the Egyptian presidential palace Feb. 1, CNN reported. Protesters threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at security forces who fired tear gas and water cannons. There was also a fire at the entrance of the palace, but it is not clear what was on fire. The Egyptian military reportedly met with opposition leaders in recent days to warn them against threatening the stability of the government.
