Greece: Credit Rating Raised From Selective Default To B, B-

Ratings agency Standard & Poor's raised Greece's credit rating from selective default to B- on long-term ratings and B on short-term ratings, the agency reported Dec. 18. Standard & Poor's also said the country has a stable outlook. Greece has completed its distressed debt buyback and eurozone finance ministers have approved the latest round of financial assistance for the country.
