India: Prime Minister Meets With Israeli Counterpart, Signs Deals In Strategic Sectors

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began a six-day trip to India, where he held bilateral talks in New Delhi with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hindustan Times reported Jan. 15. The two leaders and their Cabinet-level delegations discussed strengthening strategic cooperation in the areas of defense and counterterrorism and signed nine agreements in sectors related to cybersecurity, oil and natural gas cooperation, film coproduction, and the amendment of an existing air transport agreement.
