Iran: Country Relies Too Much On Oil Sales - Leader

Reliance on sales of crude oil is a trap for Iran, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said July 29, Reuters reported July 30. Efforts are needed to bring the country to a point where it could shut down its oil wells and not sell crude products, Khamenei said. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said international sanctions have created difficult conditions in Iran.
