At least 30 people were killed in four bomb attacks that hit a southern suburb of Sayyida Zeinab in Damascus on Feb. 21, pro-government media outlets said, the New York Times reported. The blasts occurred near a Shiite hospital. The blasts came hours after two explosions in the central city of Homs killed and wounded scores of people. A triple explosion in Sayyida Zeinab killed 45 people last month. No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, which come in spite of negotiations for a potential cease-fire in Syria's conflict.
