Syria: Airstrikes Hit 2 Refugee Camps In Aleppo

Airstrikes allegedly carried out by Russian jets hit two camps for displaced people in Aleppo province near the Syria-Turkey border on Aug. 4, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, Reuters reported. It is still unclear how many people died in the strikes, though at least two children were killed and 30 other people were wounded. Photos of the camp outside the town of Atareb show at least one burned-out tent. Aleppo province, and particularly its main city, has become one of the epicenters of the yearslong Syrian civil war.
