The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has postponed a Sept. 22 meeting regarding Syria, AFP reported Sept. 20. The meeting, meant to be a discussion of the Russian-U.S. plan to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons arsenal, has already been postponed several times. The chemical weapons watchdog said it will announce a new date and time for the meeting as soon as possible. Diplomatic sources told AFP that Washington and Moscow have not yet agreed upon a draft text of the Russian-U.S. plan for Syria. The United States and Russia have given the Syrian regime until Sept. 21 to produce a complete list of its chemical agents and munitions types as well as the locations of storage, production and research and development facilities.
