Although public support in Russia for continuing the Ukraine war initially recovered over the 2022-23 winter from its record lows following Russia's 300,000-man mobilization in September 2022, support for the war has begun to decline again in recent months. Increasing raids by anti-Putin forces into Russia, as well as future rounds of unpopular mobilization measures, could exacerbate this slow but steady downward trend.
