Russian natural gas behemoth Gazprom is threatening to sue Belarus if it does not pay for the natural gas it receives. The move could devastate Belarus, which is already strapped for cash and dealing with higher natural gas prices. Russia could also cut oil supplies to Belarus and stop using it as a transit country once the Baltic Pipeline System 2 is completed.
