BTC Pipeline Threads Through Slippery Soil

Georgia's government regained control of its separatist Ajara region May 6, a positive turn of events for the security of the nearly completed Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. Better security, however, does not mean zero risk. While the danger at BTC may be lower than it has been for years, don't bet on its future just yet.
