China: A Passenger Plane Unveiled

China unveiled its first indigenously manufactured passenger plane Dec. 21. The ARJ-21, which will enter commercial operation in late 2009, initially will be marketed in China. Down the road, however, Chinese passenger planes will be serious contenders in the developing world plane market.
