With barely a week left before Americans head to the polls to decide who will be the most powerful person on Earth, it would be odd to devote this column to anything other than politics. Voters face a choice between the two least popular candidates in presidential history. Poll after poll reports that solid majorities dislike and distrust both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and millions of Americans seem appalled by the entire electoral process.
