EU: Soaring Food Costs and a Closer Look at the CAP

The European Union's Common Agricultural Policy is getting a closer look from member states as food prices continue to rise across Europe. Although agricultural reform is needed, competing interests and French EU leadership in the second half of the year will stymie any significant changes that would have an effect on food prices.
