Georgia: An Early Election Highlights Growing Problems with Russia

Georgia will hold its presidential election Jan. 5, a year early. While there are few differences between the two leading candidates' attitudes toward the West, Russia and Georgia's future, the big question is just how much power should be wielded by the Georgian president — especially one who recently has been a thorn in the side of the country's large northern neighbor.
