In the wake of the meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin, representatives from the United States and Russia will follow up with key countries involved in the standoff between the two rival nations. U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson flew to Ukraine directly after the G-20 summit to quell fears that the progress between Moscow and Washington will come at Kiev’s expense. Similarly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will travel to Germany to meet with his counterpart, Sigmar Gabriel.
