Speculation has been spreading over the possibility that Hamas is developing the ability to manufacture locally longer-range rockets capable of reaching urban centers in Israel such as Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. Stratfor's investigation into this issue reveals that while Hamas may be locally assembling parts of long-range rockets produced elsewhere, its ability to produce them from scratch is highly questionable.
