Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao's trip to India and Pakistan led to several billion dollars' worth of deals with both countries. On the surface, the $16 billion in agreements signed by China and India seem like signs of booming bilateral ties, but China's increasing support for Pakistan has deepened New Delhi's suspicion of Beijing's strategic intentions for the region. However, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev also recently visited India, indicating that New Delhi still has options.
