Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will introduce his proposed Cabinet by letter to the Majlis on Aug. 19, Fars News Agency reported Aug. 18. The projected Cabinet is filled with the president's allies, many of whom are linked to the increasingly influential Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. However, these appointees provide the president's opponents the opportunity to show that they can still contain Ahmadinejad within the system.
