Lebanon: Violence Spreads During Hezbollah Protests

As Hezbollah continued anti-government demonstrations for a second day, violence erupted across Lebanon on May 8. At a press conference, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said the Lebanese government's May 6 decision to dismantle Hezbollah's communication network is "tantamount to a declaration of war" and blamed the government for creating the current crisis.
