The Limited Significance of the 'Stealth' Helicopter Wreckage

Summary

Pakistan will return the wreckage of a new, "stealth" U.S. special operations helicopter that crashed during the raid that killed Osama bin Laden on May 2. While certainly a positive development for the Pentagon, most of what Pakistan and potential adversaries might learn from it cannot be prevented at this late stage. The potential intelligence value of the wreckage itself, however, is likely limited.

Though the United States will have the wreckage of the "stealth" helicopter lost during the raid that killed Osama bin Laden returned to it, the potential intelligence value of the craft to adversaries would likely be limited. (With STRATFOR map and video)...
