Mexico: Explosion in Nuevo Laredo

Suspected elements of the Sinaloa Federation ambushed Mexican military forces April 24 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The attack was a brazen daytime offensive against security forces in the border city with the highest rate of traffic between the United States and Mexico. The attack fits the continuing trend of the Sinaloa Federation trying to move in on the highly strategic port of entry.
