Belarusian security forces on April 12 continued to search for suspects in the April 11 bombing at the Oktyabrskaya metro station in Minsk that killed a dozen people and injured many more. At least three people have been detained in connection with the bombing, but the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs has not revealed the suspects' identities and would not allow photofits to be released to the media. Officials did describe one suspect who has not been caught as 27 years old, well-built and of non-Slavic appearance. The deputy prosecutor of Belarus said investigators from Russia would arrive in Minsk on April 13 to help in the investigation of the bombing, and Israeli investigators are already in Minsk. So far, the motives and affiliation of the perpetrators of the April 11 attack remain unclear.
