U.S. President Joe Biden's visit to Northern Ireland is unlikely to end the political stalemate or improve the economic climate in the province, which means that the risk of isolated episodes of social unrest and violence remains high. President Biden will land in Belfast late on April 11 for a four-day visit to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to mark the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement, which in 1998 put an end to decades of sectarian violence in Northern Ireland. Biden's agenda includes meetings with U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, meetings with Northern Irish republican and unionist leaders, a speech at the Republic of Irland's Parliament, and several events to celebrate his and the United States' ancestral ties with Ireland....
