Pakistan: Musharraf's Dwindling Options
Mar 4, 2003 | 21:52 GMT
Summary
Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf is under ever-greater pressure from the United States over the United Nations Security Council vote on Iraq and cooperation in the war against terrorism. But Musharraf has found himself in an untenable position, and has little choice but to continue cooperating with Washington while harboring the hope that the United States will bail him out in the end.
