Poland: The Party's Not Over (Yet)

Summary
The leader of Poland's right-wing populist Self-Defense Party (Samoobrona), Andrzej Lepper, was reinstated as deputy prime minister and agriculture minister late Oct. 16. Concurrently, Samoobrona and the ultraconservative League of Polish Families signed a deal with the governing Law and Justice Party to form a national government. However, the current setup does not differ from the old unstable formula that collapsed last month, and this "new" Polish government is just as unsustainable.
