Thomas Firestone is a partner in the Government Investigations and White Collar Defense Practice Group at the U.S.-based international law firm Squire Patton Boggs. He represents companies and individuals before the Justice Department, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, the Securities and Exchange Commission and other U.S. government agencies. He previously spent 14 years with the Justice Department, half as a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York, where he specialized in international organized crime, and half as the resident legal advisor at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, where he worked on U.S.-Russian law enforcement cooperation.
