U.S. President Donald Trump recently issued an executive order stating that China is exploiting U.S. capital investments to fund its military growth and ambitions. The order, which goes into effect in January 2021, bans any transaction in publicly traded securities that the United States finds could support the Chinese military-industrial complex.
