Russia: TNK-BP in the Doldrums

The board of British-Russian oil firm TNK-BP has reached an impasse over the company's future strategy. The main sticking point being discussed publicly is whether TNK-BP should expand or remain a mainly Russian venture. However, the real issue is how TNK-BP's Russian owners can push British Chief Executive Robert Dudley out of the way so Gazprom can swallow the company up.
