Summary

As riots and protests continue in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, the government's stability is coming into question. Serbian President Boris Tadic is in Romania and has ordered the army to stand down and keep away from the protests. This leaves Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica — always a wildcard — in a position to launch a coup if he desires.
