Taiwan: Pan Blue's Uphill Struggle

Taiwanese President Chen Shui-Bian is making a strong showing during the presidential election season, running on a pro-Taiwanese sovereignty platform. The opposition Pan Blue Alliance, unable to divert attention to other issues, is following suit with its own watered-down version of a similar platform.
