In Tajikistan, Planned Demonstrations Reveal Potential Instability

Access to the Internet has been significantly restricted for the past week in Tajikistan after a Tajik opposition group released an online video calling for mass rallies on Oct. 10 in central Dushanbe. These and other recent measures from Dushanbe to crack down on internal dissent related to demonstrations are indicative of the government's concerns over potential instability.
