U.S.: Washington Unveils a New Strategy for Africa

The United States is planning a new approach to Africa. During a speech at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 13, U.S. national security adviser John Bolton announced the early details of a new U.S. strategy on the continent. Bolton emphasized that the United States intends to advance American trade and commercial interests, while also pushing African countries to take more responsibility for themselves.
