U.S.: What Could Have Happened at Fort Dix

Six men remain in federal custody May 9 for allegedly plotting to attack the U.S. Army's Fort Dix in New Jersey. The base's lack of security, combined with the presence of many unarmed soldiers preparing to deploy overseas, likely would have led to a large casualty count had the suspects carried out their attack. However, an amateurish mistake by one of the suspects prevented what could have been a serious militant attack.
