Summary
South African umbrella labor organization Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) called June 24 for its members and workers to isolate the government of Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe. The move represents a considerable threat to the Mugabe goverment, which relies heavily on South Africa — and its COSATU-dominated services — for its survival.
