Karla Basham

Karla Basham is a writing fellow at Stratfor. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Texas Tech University School of Law and received her Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Stratfor in 2017, Ms. Basham practiced private corporate and transactional law and was an assistant general counsel for the Rural Economic Division at the Texas Department of Agriculture. She has two sons, aged six and eight.
