Charles Thorson was a Global Security Analyst at RANE covering security issues in Africa and the Middle East. Before then, he served six years as an intelligence analyst with another company covering security issues in the Middle East and North Africa. He speaks Arabic, French and Persian.
Charles holds a master's in Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, and a bachelor’s in Global Studies from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
