Hellen Abatoni Muzungu

Hellen Abatoni Muzungu is a Global Security Analyst at RANE, where she specializes in analyzing security developments in Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to joining RANE, she worked as a journalist and analyst at BBC Monitoring, where she focused on African security, politics and media. Originally from Rwanda, Hellen holds a Master's of Science in Journalism from Columbia Journalism School in New York and a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Reading, UK. Hellen speaks several languages and has lived in Rwanda, Kenya, Sudan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
