China: Country Likely To Meet 2012 Growth Target

China has stopped its economy's slowing trend and will likely meet its 7.5 percent gross domestic product growth target for 2012, Zhang Ping, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, said Nov. 10, Reuters reported. Chinese President Hu Jintao set a new target for economic growth on Nov. 8.
