Cyprus, Turkey: Turkish Cypriot President Suggests Joint Committee for Oil, Gas Exploration

What Happened: Turkish Cypriot President Mustafa Akinci has proposed the establishment of a joint committee to help foster cooperation between the Turkish and Greek parts of Cyprus over oil and gas exploration, Reuters reported July 13.
