Egypt: Court Postpones Case On Legitimacy Of Senate

Egypt's Supreme Constitutional Court has postponed a case determining the validity of the panel that wrote the country's constitution and whether the Senate should be dissolved, Reuters reported Jan. 15. No new date for the ruling has been set. The case, which was set to be decided on Jan. 15, could have fueled already heightened political tensions in the lead-up to the country's April parliamentary elections.
